Smallest things.

There is a well known tradition in Korean couples when celebrating their love for each other. Some people mark their anniversary yearly or monthly. However, the Koreans like to celebrate every 100 days. I didn't know about this but my boyfriend enjoys the Korean culture very much and for our 100 days he placed 100 handmade stars into a jar. Bless him because he's never made them before and the stars are all uneven. But it's the imperfection in them that makes them so perfect to me. It shows he tried (very hard!) :)
It's something sweet and thoughtful as this that makes me appreciate him even more so. It's simple, but simple is enough :)

Fitness + Friends = fun!

As therapeutic working out alone can be, working out with my friend sure does make it easier! So I'm sweating out the bad and inhaling the good!

So, my friend knows this personal trainer who's training us..for free! So good! Definitely taking advantage of him whilst we can. He's pretty harsh too so that's good, gives us that extra push. So far, so good. Been working out twice a week *pat on back*  I don't get how people can train every day (or so they say) because the next day my body was in paiiiinnnn! It took me about 5 days to recover fully but I'm sure I'll slowly build my strength up if I'll keep it up! Never too late to start working on that 'summer body', but I want to make it an 'all-year body' ;)
It's so nice to work out with someone because we motivate each other and help each other out. My friend has a dog which she brings to the park too and running around with that mutt is fun!

The only difficulty with this whole keeping fit is the eating healthy part. Had a major cheat day last Friday (as it was payday) my sisters and cousins decided to have fish and chips, KFC and kebab for dinner, yes, all at the same time! How can I say no! It tasted like heaven on the lips :*
Next time I must remember 'moment on the lips, forever on the hips'

Don't worry, give me 2 months and I'll be back with some progress pictures!

Gotta go get it!

Cosmo (Croyden)

Here is, my very first plate at Cosmos! I had heard so much about this place and saw so many Instagram worthy pictures of the food that it made me so eager to try it out. The day finally came and I have to say it wasn't all that. Maybe I overhyped it, and that my expectations were expecting better, even if it was still good. There was a lot of standard buffet food, Chinese sweet and sour, spring rolls, chips Etc. the usual you'll find at a buffet. However, Cosmo also serves up sushi, salmon, crab, dimsum, scallops and  a selection of meats which they cook in front of you. At any buffet I will always try to 'beat the system' so I would try and max out their scallops and crab/lobster. However the chefs would only cook up one scallop at a time for each person -_- and the crab pieces given barely had any meat on them -_-

The desserts were all in small cups which were cute. Not too nice on my taste buds though, maybe because I don't like moose, which most of them were. Ice cream, cake, fruits and sweets, sounds like a whole lot of selection but it just didn't do it for me. I was happy with the pineapples, melon and Chinese pear. I Love fruits!

Overall, this place is worth your money, and has many options for you to choose from. A nice place to go for a casual dinner or lunch.

2013

Wow. So I haven't been blogging since October last year oops! I'll try to blog a bit more because it was pretty nice to have a read through my old posts, somewhat like an online diary. I do wish I kept up with the posts because so much has happened in the last 8 months! And to think that I graduated last year also! Time sure does fly! The only major event that I'm looking forward to is my eldest sisters' wedding!! Yep, thats right..she's finally getting married and she's planning to have it abroad in the Caribbean! So, already I'm looking forward to 2014! And that's not very far from now! Time waits for no man! I can't wait for everything that is to come with 2013..I actually can't wait to grow up! Imagining, where would I be in 3 years, or 5 years time.. I'm just excited!
I tend to eat out a lot though, so my upcoming posts will most likely be reviews on food with pictures worth dribbling over.

Until next time!
